"I hired Steve to replace my 200 amp main service panel as my existing one was completely full, and I needed additional capacity for future upgrades. Additionally, I wanted new grounding rods (the previous ones were rotten), a meter base replacement, and a new whole-home surge protector. From start to finish, Steve was always quick to respond, professional, courteous, and, above all, honest. This was the original panel on the house. When digging into the job, Steve found some lackluster work performed by the builders and the previous owner that caused more hassle than he originally planned. Nonetheless, Steve was able to remove the old panel and install the new one all within the same day, ensuring we weren't without power in the Texas heat. He cleaned up the other random bits around the panel (some old sprinkler controller, random cables, etc.) and made sure everything was level and clean. Even though there was extra work he didn't expect, he stuck with his original estimate, showing his commitment to doing right by the customer and being honest to his word. Coming from a small Midwestern town, I have found it hard to find companies or contractors like Steve. The DFW area seems to have a lot of companies that are either shady or try to inflate prices to take advantage. I did not feel any of that with Steve and will 100% recommend him to anyone who needs electrical work.
